Default Trailer And Teaser: All Superheroes Must Die Is More Kick-Ass Meets Saw Than Watchmen

In All Superheroes Must Die an evil villain pits a bunch of superheroes against one another in Saw-type games of life and death... and it actually took this long for somebody to make this movie? I bet there are several scripts registered with the WGA with passably similar concepts. The Hollywood hivemind would surely alight on this notion pretty quickly, wouldn't you think?

Here's the trailer, from when the film was called VS.

    And a shorter teaser.

The film was directed by Jason Trost, one of the perpetrators of The FP. He also stars, alongside James Remar and Lucas Till. The film has today been given a US release date of 1st January, via VOD, and some kind of limited cinema release from the 4th.

    I like it

It's pretty much "What if the Slade captured the Teen Titans"

The first trailer was far better but my interest is peaked

    Default Arcade?

This looks like what Avengers Academy is supposed to be. Looks like he even has Arcade's bowtie.

It actually looks nothing like Bratpack. I love Bratpack and it's being developed as its own movie, which I can't wait for. Bratpack is smart, visceral, and bitingly satirical. Rick Veitch deserves to have stuff like Bratpack and The One made into movies.

Trost is awesome. Was wondering what happened to this, it's been in the can for at least a year. Kinda prefer the clean and simple Vs over the clumsy All Superheroes Must Die, but you need to spell everything out for people these days so... I get it.

Whoa, now. I liked your comment but with reservations - Veitch's stuff is not mainstream and getting less so with every book - I'm fairly certain any Veitch property to hit the screen will only somewhat resemble the source material. Whether that's good or bad is up to the viewer. If Rick made some scratch on the option, all is well.

It's like that long rumored Green Arrow Movie titled Super Max, but with an evil Jimmy Olsen running things inside the jail.

Unless things have changed, Marvel and DC co-own the trademark on "superhero". I don't think Disney and WB are going to be happy with the title of this movie.

Just checked... it's still live, and owned by both.
