    Default The Extended John Carter Superbowl Spot Is Here (Fixed)

    A new TV spot for John Carter aired during the Superbowl. That one ran 30 seconds - the online version has 30 more, and you can watch it here:

    With release just over a month away, marketing on the film is now really stepping it up a notch.

    I thought this one could have been a better trailer for the Super Bowl, but it was enough to make my kid turn around and look at me with owl eyes. Guess that accomplishes the goal.

    This trailer IS SO MUCH BETTER than the Avengers Trailer. I'm really excited for this movie. It looks amazing.

    Of course, Tatooine was based on Barsoom, to some extent; and Star Wars was definitely rooted in the John Carter books.
