Default VIDEO: A Look At Red Dwarf Model Work From The Upcoming Series

Behold, Red Dwarf herself in all of her glory.

Would it have been cheaper to use CG? I dunno. Would it have been better? Still dunno. Would it have tugged at the heartstrings quite so much? Heck no.

Red Dwarf returns to UK screens this Autumn.

Regarding the models vs cgi question I would say Red Dwarf's model work has always worked better than it's cgi.

Agreed. But, really, with this show, it's not about the special effects anyways. They're just eye candy for the greatness.

Please tell Doug Naylor that! Somewhere along the line he seemed to forget he was writing a sitcom!
