Man Of Steel Mini Rushes - Lana Lang Cast, Great New Photo And Logo

Henry Cavill has been so gracious as to pose for a picture with a young fan on the set of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel and, as you'd expect, that image has made its way online where it can become some kind of geek news. Some odd kind.

This is a good look at the costume, however, with the cuffs nicely in frame for those of us who care about such things.



Something tells me that little kid is British.

Another new image, as Twitpicced, reveals the S logo presented on the crew shirts.



So I guess those rumours of him being renamed Zuperman were just bunk, eh?

The following could be said to constitute a minor spoiler, but not by me. Use a tiny amount of caution, I suppose. A crumb.

So... young Jadin Gould has been cast as a similarly young Lana Lang in Man of Steel, as confirmed with her agent bySuperman Supersite. She'll likely be sharing scenes with Dylan Sprayberry, the film's 13-year old Clark Kent. Quite what they'll be up to, we don't know but I doubt these thirteen year olds will take their moves from the Nikki Reed playbook.

I'm hoping they fall in love, grow up and get married, just so there's an actress called Jadin Sprayberry.

lol..it's kind of funny...a lot of people are talking about the change in costume. HOWEVER...I have yet to see one mention of the lack of one other Superman trademark feature...the spit curl. I know that they didn't have it in the Smallville TV series...but every other Superman TV show or movie has had it.

Say what you will about the costume, but Cavill definitely looks the part

I think comments on the costume are beside the point. Look at the smile and easy, good-humored manner. That is Superman.

Agreed, but I usually get shouted down when I mention that. Just too much blue without the trunks. Cavill looks great. I just wish they'd give him a better uniform to complete the look. Won't stop me from being at the front of the line when it comes out though.

I think too many people forget that those red trunks actually serve a purpose.
