I was blown away by this special effects test for Spielberg's War Horse. They needed something like a dozen horses to play Joey, the titular nag, but that doesn't mean the filmmakers didn't also employ some CG and, as you'll see in the video, other remarkable trickery.

I was genuinely astonished by that clip, not least because the performance is incredible. I'm left wishing for another film in the vein of the Babe movies. Thanks very much to AICN for the heads up.
