New Frankenweenie Close-Up: A Boy And His Undead Dog (UPDATED With Second Image)

There seems to be some confusion at The LA Times over when Frankenweenie will be released. Their main copy says October 5th, while the caption for this new image says December 9th. That's a Sunday so, really, I think we can trust in the October date.



When I visited the set of the film I leaned in real close to get sone good, close-up looks like the one in this photo but, really, I can't wait to see these images thirty feet tall and really relish in the textures.

I can't wait for this movie. If it has even half the wit, energy and heart of the short it should be spectacular.

Heck, if it's half as good as Nightmare, it'll be incredible. (The short was live-action, hard to compare, no?)

Of course, half as good as Nightmare is still about a thousand times better than the travesty that was Corpse Bride :::shiver:::
