    Default Cerebus TV/SIMTeeVee: 2 episodes!

    "The Dave Sim Book Club"

You will actually believe Cerebus as a blue balloon animal thanks to the artistry of The Amazing Mr. J part of the welcoming contingent greeting Dave Sim at Halifax Airport in 2010 for THE LAST SIGNING, all documented by professional fashion photographer the (Equally Amazing) Stoo Metz and a preview of just some of his photos for a quick highlight slideshow. Interrupted by a bulletin from The C-Minus Kid that Eric Hoffman, having completed work on a book of collected essays (to be published by McFarland Press in 2012) CEREBUS THE BARBARIAN MESSIAH, is now at work on another book DAVE SIM: CONVERSATIONS for the University of Mississippi Press. Also Dave Sim comments, briefly, on Susan Alston's forthcoming book DAVE SIM'S LAST GIRLFRIEND.

CEREBUS TV Episode 91 "A Christmas Carol: Stave Three"
Cerebus TV Internet Streaming Comic Book Show
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even a AARDVARK??!!!

Instead, Cerebus Creator Dave Sim performs the role of
Scrooge for the Third Stave of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol for CerebusTV Season Three.

... If you haven't read Dickens in the original, seeing and hearing this presentation will be an added treat.

Dave's voice characterization is as if the role were made for him and his execution is flawless.

    "Dave Sim IS Ebeneezer Scrooge!"

The result is a highly moving, emotionally compelling
    performance.

Extras - CerebusTV CTO Max Southall introduces the Christmas
Special, with a recollection of an experience from their
    childhood that has special relevance.

A long-lost animated short, from the CerebusArt.com site,
which is now part of CerebusTV - by artist extraordinaire,
Saint Gerhard (as Professor Brian Coppola has dubbed him.)

And, a collector's item gift signed by Dave Sim in appreciation
for the CerebusTV donors whose generosity makes it all possible.

To each of you, Merry Christmas - and Gold Bless us, every one!

Concurrent with the Christmas Special, last week's full episode
will continue to be available on demand at

Ah Dave Sim. Our hobby's poster child for the Creator Breakdown trope.

I always wish I could have seen how Cerebus would have turned out if Sim hadn't gone insane.
