Default Morgan Spurlock's Making A New Show For British TV And You Can Be Part Of It

This was rather unexpected, but I do get it.

Morgan Spurlock, the man who made his name by gorging on McDonalds' meals for Supersize Me and has just completed a documentary about Comic-Con, has come over to the UK and gotten himself a TV show, Morgan Spurlock's New Britannia.

I was canvassed to see if I wanted tickets, and here's the pitch I was given:
Morgan Spurlock?s New Britannia is a brand new exciting entertainment show from Sky Atlantic where the award-winning & Oscar nominated US filmmaker focuses on life in modern Britain seen from an American point of view.

Morgan?s here to help us take an honest look at ourselves, what we do really well, what we don?t do so well and he?ll have plenty of fun along the way.

He?ll be joined in the studio by top celebrities, a live band and comics from both sides of the Atlantic (Russell Kane, Dave Fulton, Howard Marks and Rich Hall) with plenty to say about US/UK relations and the good and bad in both countries.

As part of the audience you may well get a chance to let us what you think as well. So come and join us for laughs, strong opinion, odd facts, occasional weirdness and more laughs after that.

Well, you surprised me, Spurlock, I'll give you that.

If you want to book tickets, the filming sessions are on the 5th, the 9th and the 10th of January. And I expect a full report on my desk by 9am the following morning.

From the inclusion of Howard Marks on the list of guests I'm sure that drug use is on the agenda. The health service is probably a bit of a no-brainer too. But what else would help illuminate differences between the UK and the US? All I'm coming up with right now is:
    • Scones
    • The word "fanny"
    Can you do any better?

I talk to a lot of Americans online.

Maybe Spurlock could educate them as to where Wales is...
Especially if Howard Marks is on the show.

As an American, it would be good to know where in England Wales is...

Although I would love to see some info on pasties, those things are purely British and awesome!
