While we're all waiting for the Sundance premiere of Wrong - and, let's be honest, most of us will be waiting much longer than others - we can rewind a little on the resume of director Quentin Dupieux and check out his first pass at some of the ideas in Rubber with 2001's Nonfilm.

The film stars Vincent Belorgey and Sebastien Tellier, both of them principally known for their work in dance music and not movies - though Belorgey was the man behind the opening title tune in Drive, and probably therefore the most valuable player in that particular match.

Dupieux made Nonfilm available for streaming with this description:
NONFILM is unwatchable. NONFILM is my first attempt to make a movie (failed). NONFILM is the essence of the 'NO REASON'. NONFILM is RUBBER's handicapped brother. NONFILM is a wild animal. NONFILM contains only ONE joke. NONFILM has been shot with Flat Eric's money. NONFILM is great if you know how to watch it. TRY.

So I did. And I was happy I had.

Here's Nonfilm. Enjoy.
