I've received a link to this trailer from so many people today that I have no idea where it originated. According to the YouTube description, however, the original uploader was a stuntman on the picture.
"He can really take a punch" doesn't exactly pass for a character trait, but I think we've got some idea where Pearce is going with this role.
Lockout, subtitled Trapped in High Places at the end there, has been produced by Luc Besson and Europacorp and marks the feature directorial debut of James Mather and Stephen Saint Leger, directors of the popular short Prey Alone.
You wouldn't be able to pull a plot premise together from the Lookout promo clip but here's more info on the film in the shape of its marketing blurb:A man (Guy Pearce) wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president's daughter (Maggie Grace) from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.
I don't trust the supposed release dates floating around online, but I expect Lockout will be with us by the spring.
