Default Frank Cho Would Like To Teach You How To Draw Beautiful Women

It's been said that no one draws the female form quite like Frank Cho. Also, dinosaurs. And men with axes.

Well, at least the first one may not be true for much longer. Because Frank Cho, of Battle Of The Atom, X-Men Vs Avengers, Liberty Meadows and so much more, wants to give you his secrets. I say "give", I mean "buy". And, naturally he's doing it with Kickstarter.

Drawing Beautiful Women is his new volume, filled with sketches and step by step instructions. The book will be available in paperback, hardback, slipcases and with an exclusive to Kickstarter art print, and the more expensive versions having exclusive comntent. Indeed, the Kickstarter seems to be more of an advance-order system, for Frank, with delivery in October 2014.

    Thanks, man.

    I really appreciate your support.

If this thing works out, then you'll see more creator-owned projects from me in the future.

Love to back it, but I'm in Canada.

    Sigh, eh?

To be fair, it may not be ignoring as much as not wanting to charge the exorbitant shipping and handling fees for destinations outside the US -- usually $20-30 for a book of this size.

Not to plug my own art book Kickstarter (but I will talk about it), I had to price out affordable shipping costs within Canada, to the US, and to rest of the world and the results were a little surprising. The more affordable option for buyers outside the US will invariably to order them through a local retailer or online after Flesk publishes it.

I'll probably throw some money at this should the project need it (unlikely), but I'd rather see a $5.00 reward tier with a small PDF sketchbook made available so us outsiders could see a door to join in the party.

Oh, Frank. US Only? You know the whole world loves you, right, not just the US?

Ah, well, ordering from Flesk publications has always been hassle-free so I'll go that route.

I guess I'm also a bit spoiled on recent "how I draw" projects being accompanied by video examples showcasing technique. Any chance of that happening down the line?
