Default Doctor Who Returns To BBC One On Saturday March 30th

The next episode of Doctor Who is to get its UK airing during the Easter weekend. History suggests that BBC America will follow suit and screen the episode just a few hours later.

They're calling this the second half of the seventh series but, to be honest, they might as well frame it as the eighth. There's a new version of a theme, new titles, a new companion, a new Tardis, there was a break in transmission... indeed, the only way it's the same series is that they say it is.

I guess there was only a short break in production, but what does that matter to us?

Anyway, it will be nice to have the show back. The next episode was written by Steven Moffat, is set in contemporary London and will feature Celia Imrie.

Previously: some official word on the anniversary shows. Finally.

Nice. Should be a pretty sweet weekend. Doctor Who on the 30th, followed by The Walking Dead season finale and The Game of Thrones season premiere on the 31st.

Why couldn't it have been set in the Victorian-era, so Celia Imrie could play Pip Bin's aunt?

This. He should totally be a full time Companion.
    Mostly Hairless.

This entire season of DOCTOR WHO is the worst since 2005, and at least the third worst since 1963. Just pure drivel, crafted by committee for the sheeple among us. Enjoy your tepid offerings, my darlings. Lap up the mediocrity and let the banal fluff coat your constantly lowering threshold of satisfaction and acceptance. Burn the heretics who disagree!!

Actually, that's harsh, there've been worse. Which reminds me: what happened to Dusty?
