One of comics' ongoing costume controversies, the classic Power Girl costume and its "boob window", returns for another round:

They sort-of did this briefly last year. It looks (and sounds, from the solicits) a bit more permanent this time, but I guess time will tell.

No opinion one way or the other on the boob window, but I do like the return of the classic costume.

I had grown kinda fond of the New 52 costume (the insignia needed some tweaking) but I'm good with this.

Sigh. Every time you think comics is moving forward and realizing if they want to survive they have to think beyond hormonally charged boys and grown men who act like hormonally charged boys, they do this. And honestly it's been a sham to begin with, as her clothes get ripped off every fight.

While I love the return of the Bronze Age Huntress/Power Girl team, this book has been too underwhelming to do anything that might put me off like this. Exactly what is the point of putting characters from Earth 2 on Earth one and have them NEVER interact with its inhabitants. I get the characters don't want to, but they probably don't want to fight for their lives every issue either! It's the more interesting story that matters, and they haven't been delivering. Damian was too little, too late. Honestly, I'm looking for a reason to bail and this may be it.
