Default Grant Morrison Gets One More Issue Of Action Comics

Although Andy Diggle and Tony S Daniel are lined up to start their Action Comics run with issue 18, I understand that Grant Morrison and Rags Morales will need one more issue to finish their story. Which means Diggle and Daniel's debut will be delayed to April and issue 19.

So expect some kind of retro solicitation to come down the pipe. Once they've worked out exactly what Grant and Rags are doing.

Here is the current solicitation. Looks it will be one more month before Andy Diggle will be the first person to write the US's biggest sci-fi icon and the UK's biggest sci-fi icon* simultaneously. And no one has done that before...

    I hate this shit.

As someone who gets his comics online and preordered I have no way to add Action 18 to my order. Thanks a lot for not getting your shit together and constantly changing solicitations.

Doesn't Morrison have form for this? I have it in my head that one of his mini series ended up with extra issues.

God I hope there's some sort of ironic knowing parody in there.

So does this mean that, come April, Action 19 will run what should have been in Action 18 which will not have a "Holy Sh*t" moment or a gatefold cover?!?

Grant Morrison is so full of ideas that his shopping lists are six pages long and usually refer to shopping lists his dad wrote in 1967.

This is good news. I’m looking forward to Daniel’s run, because his art so far looks stunning, but I’m all for more Morrison on any book he writes.
"I’m a nasty piece of work, chief, ask anybody."
    "You ate the 'ony'!"
"I'm vilifying you for God's sake – pay attention!"
"You look far enough into the future, you're bound to see something you don't like. People forget: we're all programmed to die."
"Have we been here before or are we yet to come?"
"What the Hell is the difference between a painting done by someone who chooses to paint like a child and a child's painting?"
