Default Saucer Country And Superman Family Adventures Cancelled

    Aw man...

I was told that when Paul Cornell left DC Comics for Marvel, he'd still be doing Saucer Country. Clearly DC Comics disagreed.

Issue 14 of the intelligent political alien conspiracy that drew parallels with alien conspiracy and US immigration strategy with greater success than anything I've ever seen, will be its last, shipping in April.

Also joining Saucer Country, DC Universe Presents and I Vampire, will be Superman Family Adventures, the kids title by Alt Baltazar and Franco, a beautiful comic book in its own right. Both Mature Readers and All Ages comics are poorer for their passing. And hey, we've still got until April!

? When the Super Family leaps into action, will they be trapped in Apokolips?!

Awesome try making it seem like retaliation for Cornell going to Marvel, Rich. Not at all factual, but nice try nonetheless.

But still looks better than the armored costume with polluted design that we see on 'JL' and 'Superman'.

This sucks, I...Vampire and Saucer Country were 2 of the best books month in and month out. I...Vampire was a top 10 New 52 book story wise.

Hopefully this means that Ryan Kelly will have more time to focus on Cocotte (his excellent web comic with Kat Vapid) and Funrama Presents (his self-published superhero/ fantasy anthology). Seriously, it's felt like Saucer Country has been holding him back this past year.

Ryan, if you're reading this, be hearty --- now is the time to free yourself of commercial servitude! Be free!!
