    Default DC Cancels I Vampire

We'd heard the rumours around New York Comic Con that I Vampire would be cancelled with issue 18. But with the collection bursting into the New York Times best seller charts and beating its better known rivals, we wondered if this vampire crime conspiracy thriller might survive. And I heard that subsequent scripts past issue 18 had already been written.

It seems it is not to be. Not more than one issue. The "What The F?" moment, as Bobbie Chase puts it, behind this particular gatefold cover is that the book is cancelled.

    I, VAMPIRE #19

    Written by JOSHUA HALE FIALKOV

Art by FERNANDO BLANCO and ANDREA SORRENTINO

    Fold-out cover by ANDREA SORRENTINO

    On sale APRIL 24 ? 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US ? RATED T+ ? FINAL ISSUE

? With this, the final issue, will Andrew Bennett survive to dawn?s light?

With this and DCU Presents, it definitely seems like they've got a new wave up their sleeve. I'm excited to hear what's coming up in that.

Well fuck, another actual good DC book bites it. I hate you people that continue to support the shit that is Teen Titans and anything written by Scott Lobdell

Well that's a tragedy loved the book, but the its been marked for death for a while the low sales, taking away a the artist, sucks that it has to end, I hope it goes out with a bang and DC can put Fiakolv an another book.

I had hoped we’d get 24 full issues.

I think if the book had been marketed better – starting with the covers to the first few issues NOT evoking TWILIGHT – the book may have found a larger audience.

This is my second favorite DCnU series. I’ll miss it….
