Default When Wesley Willis Went Wonder Woman

The new Wonder Woman comic features the deityish Milan as Orion of the New Gods catches up with him in Brooklyn.

Milan appears to be modelled on Wesley Willis, Chicago singer songwriter, with a penchant for songs about his various confrontations with superheroes.

    Such as this...

I'd buy a comic where Batman gets his ass whooped for getting on Wesley's nerves in a heartbeat. Here's the song set to clips from BTAS.

It's odd that you chose a video from a show I was at. The wife and I talked to him for about twenty minutes that night. He was a truly nice guy. RIP Wesley.

Glad to see him live on in comic form. He should definitely have a go at Batman.

Ha, I was at that show too!!! I was a student at WMU at the time, went with a group of friends. I got his autograph on an old ATM receipt. I still have it!

I remember when i went to get the autograph, he kept yelling "Scream Dracula Scream!" at me. It was surreal.

Further reading tags need fixing too. And this is pretty skinny as far as info goes....almost to the point of being barely worth posting.
