    worse-convention-ever.

But they did have a nice mix of guests.

Holy shit! I'd pay $25 just for that bit!

If you're going to pick up some old-ish Batman related books, Dixon's Nightwing is a really good choice. Except for the Bruce Jones stuff that whole run is really good.

Even some of the guests had the "what the hell am I doing here?" look

The Bruce Jones run was a trainwreck (Dick Grayson becomes a model, his girlfriend "Cheyenne" wears the Nightwing suit, and Jason Todd becomes an amoeba creature -- there, saved anyone who didn't read it the trouble of having to) , but aside from some nice Jamal Igle artwork the Marv Wolfman follow up run is as interesting as a dish rag. That said, the Peter Tomasi stuff that closed the book out was terrific.

    Have a good day.

The stories were nice, but the Scott McDaniel art was butt ugly. Sketchy, cartoony, with arms and legs bend in weird shapes, strange, curvy heads and faces. Sort of like Humberto Ramos in a real bad way.
Greg Land was decent afterwards, but that was when he still was a penciller not a tracer.

I enjoyed the series as a whole, except for the Bruce Jones run. I thought Wolfman's run was decent as well, if not too thrilling^^

You're being way too kind to McDaniel. He's much worse than you described
