We went out and reached the original creators and they had passed, but we still believed this was the right choice to make. And in doing so we went out with the strongest creators possible, so while you may question the decision you can't question the quality of the product and the quality of the people behind the product."

Funny how this rarely happens in book publishing...

"Hello, ms. Rowling? Yeah, we were thinking Harry Potter is too rich a world to be limited to 7 books. Can you write some more? No? Okay, then how about we get some top flight writers to do some Before Harry novels cause this thing is a massive money maker for us. Hello? Hello? She hung up."
Mrs. Rowling had lawyers read her contract and make sure it worked in her favor.

No first he's got to hire someone to finish it. I know, JMS!

Are you actually suggesting JMS as someone to FINISH a comics run?

Hogwash. I reject Moore's notion that he is the only true "artiste" working in comics and that everyone else is a dirty whore just doing it for the money. Moore has made a complete career out of working on projects based on other people's work, most recently NEONOMICON from Avatar, which is based on Lovecraft's mythos.

Do you think any of the authors that created the characters that Alan Moore "stole" for LOST GIRLS would be happy with how he wrote them? How about the original authors of the cast in LOEG? I wonder how Robert Mayer would feel to see how Moore has ripped off his SUPERFOLKS novel countless times without credit.

So again, it's ok if Moore does it, but everybody else is a dirty whore?

    No.

That's exactly not what I'm saying.

If Dan is so fond of love letters.... why does he keep returning mine to sender?!? Why must you deny our love Dan!? And what about our child?!? I raised him even though you said you were on the pill and all?!? He deserves the right to know his other father!! Stop hiding from your past!! Those letters do not violate the retraining order!! I read the contract fine print!!! Even the toe nail clippings in the letter are legally valid!!! Toe nail clippings make for the best love letters.
