    Just to be clear: this is the ACTUAL cover. No photoshop back then, McKean did it all mixed-media.

    This is why Dave McKean is god. Just magnificent. It's owner Scott Eder, must start every day with a smile when he passes this. Must be a bitch to get on the flatbed though.

    It's a while since I've looked through my copy of Sandman Dustcovers, but if memory serves correct they were all paintings/photos up until around #54 when McKean started using a computer for bits and bobs.
