    Default Hyrule Hysteria

Legend Of Zelda: Hyrule Historia is the number one selling book on Amazon.

It's the number one best selling book at Barnes & Noble.

It is Indigo's best selling book too.

While they can get it. Dark Horse Comics have sold out of their quarter-million print run. it is still at stock at these stores... but not at Dark Horse.

The 4000-copy limited edition hardcover however? That has been selling repeatedly for ovr $350 on eBay already.

I can picture Dark Horse's Mike Richardson jumping up with glee and smashing the ceiling.

He's a tall man, you see.

I thought it was alright. I don't know what exactly I was expecting, but it received so much hype that it would have been almost impossible to deliver. I thought it was very heavy on the concept art/character designs. I'm more of an old school Zelda fan, so a lot of the newer stuff was lost on me. Still, for the $19 or so I paid via Amazon, I'm pleased to have it on my bookshelf.

I'm the same way. I was expecting and hoping to see the 8-bit versions of the characters from the original NES game. And a big fold-map of the 8-bit original Hyrule. Oh well.

Now now, let's not confuse the narrative. We've already established that Mike Richardson must be panicking because Dark Horse can't possibly survive if Disney moves the Star Wars licence to Marvel.

    Kinda weird

I have this and the History of Sonic the Hedgehog book. If I where to compare the 2? The Hyrule Hystoria is slightly better, slightly. Because of it's Size it fits more content but it's too picture heavy, the sonic one is a little more brief but it has more interviews and development of the series. I like em both though

The only thing keeping me from getting this book is the lack of emphasis on the older games. Yeah, there's probably not a lot to work with to begin with, but they could have done... I donno... something. It's the one constant complaint I keep seeing.
