Default The Rebirth Of Joe Palooka On Fox And Friends As A Mixed Martial Arts Fighter

It's not just Amazing Spider-Man #700 that's getting the publicity, IDW's revival of Joe Palooka got a massive bump this morning, as well as a rather positive discussion of the comics industry as a whole. Not a Shock! Horror! Catwoman! in sight...
"So these are what comics look like these days, not the way like the little Archie comics looked like, these are gorgeous" - Juliet Huddy.

I have a hard time thinking of Fox and Friends as anything but a show for children.

Far be it from me to praise Fox for anything, but that was actually a refreshingly fair and open story on comics, which you rarely see. Theres almost always a bit of condescension when the mainstream media covers comics, but that wasn't the case here at all. Good on ya, Fox, and congrats to IDW and the Joe Palooka team.

Glad to see the positive coverage, but some of the stuff the author said in the interview is ridiculous. A comic about MMA and people beating the crap out of each other is kid-friendly? And I'd love to know where all these MMA classes for children are.

That was a nice interview, but Archie Comics needs to lampoon them for that back-handed compliment on the artwork.

Cool stuff! Nice that even with my frequenting a comic shop and various websites I have to find out that a comic exists through F&F! Clayton Morris is, BTW, a true comic fan and a tech geek!

Did the long list of fact checking corrections air at the end of it?

Well that's a reasonable assumption. I mean, just look at their audience!
