Default Infinite Vacation #5 Gets A Shipping Date. And Basically Pulls In #6 As Well.

It was meant to come out in May 2011.

    There's been a bit of a delay.

But now it seems that the final issue of the multidimensional slice-of-life thriller Infinite Vacation by Nick Spencer and Christian Ward has been scheduled for January 9th 2013. Originally a $3.99 book, it is now $5.99.

But is it also 64 pages long.

Basically, this five issue series is now a six issue series. But the sixth issue is now part of the fifth issue. For the price of one-and-a-half issues. Or something like that...

The art is from a page in progress by Ward...

Those waiting for Tom Judge: The Geometry Of Hell One Shot from Top Cow in January may not be so fortunate however, as the book has been cancelled...

That just ruined my Christmas. I hope we get a blind item column tomorrow even though you ran one in BC #1.

Excellent news. Now all we need are release dates for Morning Glories #24-25. I wonder if that book will get relaunched when the second "season" starts.

I'm hoping Top Cow just said with the Tom Judge story they can just make it a regular issue of Artifacts.

I received a notification from DCBS last week about the changes, with the option to cancel my order or pay the extra(though still quite a bit less than cover price). I've waited this long to finish this story, no sense giving up on it now.

I won't hold my breath for the 1.9.2013 release date.

Does anyone know the reason for the delays on the series overall?

After INFINITE VACATION #5, I will be completely free of all Nick Spencer comic books, so I do hope it makes its release in two weeks.

Good news! Must re-read the entire series in one go. It'll read better that way, like most comics do.

This comic is the poster child for "why I should wait for the trade."

    This and Nonplayer.

I want a release date for Hickman's SHIELD (vol 2) #5 and #6. It is so much better than his Avengers. It is a real shame it has been delayed to allow Hickman to do Avengers.

Looking forward to buying Infinite Vacation in trade.
