Default Comic Shops That Break The Christmas Embargo

As we thought, some retailers got rather confused with the Diamond one week delay on certain books that retailers received yesterday. Forbidden Planet in London had the Dark Horse Eerie hardcover on sale. One shop in the Mesa, Arizona was selling Avenging Spider-Man #15.1 but not Amazing Spider-Man #700 (see below).

These two examples seem accidental rather than deliberate. But others may not be.

Basically what comics you could buy today seriously depends on where you shop. I wonder if Diamond's secret shoppers were out in force today? Did you see anything similar?

I bet quite a few are selling the books. Why else would marvel release them early?

Some people got next week's stuff early?!

MY shop held stuff from this week back, such as JL, Green Lanter, Wonder Woman (Seems like it was all DC for some reason)

    I guess it's a double-sided coin.

Marvel haven't release them early. Comics normally get delivered to shops on Tuesday's. As next tuesday is Christmas Day, the books we're delivered a week early so the delivery drivers could enjoy Christmas too.

its a skip week. product ships early so there are at least a title or two for next week but no diamond bills. i wish they would do this for every 5 wednesday month instead of just the last one of the year.

it is clear on invoices this time which titles are not be released.....

pretty sure JL was SUPPOSED to come out next week, as its not on Midtown's list of comics THIS week.
