Default Swipe File: World's Finest And Insanity Wolf

It may no longer have a camel on the cover. But Worlds' Finest #7 does have a wolf on the inside.

But not just any wolf. But the internet viral meme Insanity Wolf!

    Here's the original...

In Swipe File we present two or more images that resemble each other to some degree. They may be homages, parodies, ironic appropriations, coincidences or works of the lightbox. We trust you, the reader, to make that judgment yourself? If you are unable to do so, please return your eyes to their maker before any further damage is done. The Swipe File doesn?t judge, it?s interested more in the process of creation, how work influences other work, how new work comes from old, and sometimes how the same ideas emerge simultaneously, as if their time has just come. The Swipe File was named after the advertising industry habit where writers and artist?*collect images and lines they admire to inspire them in their work. It was swiped from the Comic Journal who originally ran this column, as well as the now defunct Swipe Of The Week website.

I have never seen this meme before in my life.

Between this and that Channing Tatum stuff Brendon was pushing earlier, I'm starting to feel like I'm not on Facebook enough.

I've never seen it either, but I'm starting to think I might have spent much of the past year in a cave without realising.

You gotta start giving credit to the artist who did the swipe. Not as a negative thing. I give kudos to this fella for using some good reference. Other artists can learn a thing for two from this.

I get the impression Kevin Maguire puts these little things in just for giggles - preteen cameltoes, insanity wolves... I think he's art-trolling us.

Yup, it's the Insanity Wolf indeed.

No wonder not a lot of people know this meme, it's a variation of the Courage Wolf with a little excessive violence/rape jokes for people to openly share on FB.

    Hahahaha!

I've never heard of 90% of the internet memes out there, either - but I don't think I could ever utter the words 'I'm not on Facebook enough'. About a minute and a half a day is more than enough for me.
