Default Most Disappointing (In A Bad Way) Comic For 2012 - Nominations

You know how it goes. You build up hope, belief, longing, desire, for a comic book series to succeed, to be wonderful, to blow your mind.

And then it just kinda sits there. Meh. It's not a bad comic, but you built it up to be so much better.

So you have nothing left to do but scream at the internet. Scream until it stops. And then vote on this poll...

    [polldaddy poll=6772484]

    Can't see it, dear...
    Mostly Hairless.

This entire season of DOCTOR WHO is the worst since 2005, and at least the third worst since 1963. Just pure drivel, crafted by committee for the sheeple among us. Enjoy your tepid offerings, my darlings. Lap up the mediocrity and let the banal fluff coat your constantly lowering threshold of satisfaction and acceptance. Burn the heretics who disagree!!

Why the hell is Dial H on this poll? That's the best new comic coming from Marvel or DC, bar none.

Action Comics, Batman Inc and Dial H do have something in common, but it isn't that they are overrated. It's that they're brilliant.

Agreed! I came to make the exactly same comment! I think only Earth 2 is better when it comes to new comic books; Dial H is one of the only 5 DC comic books I still read.

Amazing Spider-Man: Read 2 issues, about like I expected.
Avengers Vs X-Men: Didn't read, sounded like it was dumb comics for dumb people.
The Boys: Lost interest in just after Herogasm. Turned out exactly as I predicted then.
Before Watchmen: Nice sales drops there, across the board. Just because my LCS is stuck with so many copies don't mean I have to buy 'em.
Black Kiss 2: WTF? I never read the first BK, but this is straight up porn fanfic.
    Dial H: Not for me.
Insufferable: What's that? Oh the webcomic with the Apple IIe-level animation. No offense to Mr Waid, but you sold your comics collection for this?
Magic: The Gathering: Still don't really know what that is. It's a comic?
    The Ravagers: See above.
Star Trek/Doctor Who: Assimilation Squared: Read #1. First issue made a splash, then there was some controversy, never heard anything about it again.
Uncanny Avengers: Read like John Byrne. Was pretty disappointed, actually. Felt like an okay Ultimates idea that never got used there.
Walking Dead #100: A little disappointing. The much-hyped death doesn't seem to have been dealt with by any of the characters, but it hit readers hard.
X-Men Legacy: Only read bad reviews of, but didn't read.

Is Action Comics overrated? I though the consensus was that it was pretty underwhelming.
