    Default Will Brian Bendis And Mike Deodato Give Us A New Heroes For Hire (Spoilers)

    Yesterday, as the final issue of Brian Bendis' New Avengers, and his final Avangers issue full stop, was published, Bendis tweeted;
    hey Avengers fans! that was fun! 232 issues of crazy! is my last page hinting at a new book by me and @mikedeodato ??

    Well we left it a day. Here is that final page.

    So is that Heroes For Hire then? With Luke Cage and Jessica Jones? Come to think of it, we don't know where Iron Fist is meant to end up...

    I like the sparse use of dialogue.

    Geez, can we get anything new from Marvel? How many times has Marvel done Heroes For Hire in the past few years? 2, 3 times?

    It's not working, folks. Even if it has Bendis name on it, still won't work, and I like Bendis.

    My $.02.

    Tons of dialogue, pet characters......This is a perfectly fitting final Bendis Avengers page.

    How MARVEL hasn't greenlit a HEROES FOR HIRE movie yet, I've no idea. The instant buddy-(cop)-flick, but with superheroes. And not even stuffy, spandex-clad superheroes. We're talking the street-level, almost a comedy stuff. That SCREAMS adaptation to movie or a TV series. Hell, a TV series would fit the concept perfectly, too. Super-martial-arts and high-speed urban adventure. Cast carefully the two leads, Luke Cage and Danny Rand, get that right chemistry and you have a new long-running franchise ala' Supernatural. Just PLEASE keep it away from the CW. I'm thinking adult actors here, not 16 year-old drama about relationships and tween moments. At the same time, I'm not thinking The Shield-level grit, either. Something in the middle that's funny, smart, and kicks ass. That's not too much to ask, right?

    See I think that would be an awesome movie. But I feel like with the current crop of Marvel movies everything has to tie in together, and while this would be an awesome movie, they could have trouble making it fit with everything else. Finger's crossed during phase 3 though!

    well they don't have to make it "fit" nicely just make some random reference to recent marvel movie and that's all you need to link a movie like Heroes for Hire hell you could make it a prequel to Avengers showing heroes cropping up in a smaller operation before the Avengers.
