Default Spawn #225 Gives You The Election You Actually Wanted (SPOILERS)

Yes I know Spawn has a reputation for being a late comic, but this was originally timed to come out on the day after the Presidential Election. The votes may not have been counted, there could have been a legalchallenges, and right in the middle of it would have landed the 20th Anniversary edition of Spawn, #225, with a Watchmen parody cover and the logo OBAMA WINS! or ROMNEY WINS!

A few weeks later, it no longer has that edge. But I'm wondering if theremightbe a surge of Romney-issue support, for those Americans who really, really wish they were now living under a Romney presidency.

Maybe Karl Rove could be sent a copy?

Has a best-selling comic ever fallen so far and so hard from grace as Spawn? It's scraping by on about 20, 000 these days, isn't it?

Todd McFarlane was the reason it was a top seller and its fallen pretty quick after him and capullo quit drawing the book.

Spawn is now one of the last standing books on the currently running highest number list isn't it? It even went so far as to kill the lead and still not renumber. I can't imagine any other book (except Savage Dragon) not going for the brief bump renumbering would give.

Now if Todd can convince achie to renumber he will have the highest numbered currently running comic, wont he? I never imagined that, while working a comic shop back when Spawn debuted. Flash in the pan is what we were all thinking.
