Some More Todd McFarlane "Original Art" Not To Buy
Some poor folks are bidding for a very misleadingly described print of the recently auctioned cover to Batman #423 by Todd McFarlane. It seems to be a colour printout of the scans provided by Heritage. They even swiped the description straight from last week's auction, in which the art sells for over $71,000. It pays to read the whole listing before bidding.$12000 and 2 days to go...
If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
And yet it's at $12,000+ with 3 days to go.$760 and 2 days to go…
I like how they accept Bitcoin...

Its pretty clear in the description, and its not your money, so why do you even care.
These are adults playing an adult game. Kids stay out of it.
How is it pretty clear in the description? It is listed as signed (which it can't be if it's a print of a signature) and if it is indeed not original then that needs to be in huge block letters...saying "these are adults plays an adult game" basically means that you are in favor of a system where it is ok to be as evasive as possible as long as you are technically not lying and that's just fine.
How would you report this to eBay?

Me: If you mean the continuity won't match up with any of the preceding issues, anyone could have predicted that.
The listing is clearly fraudulent. I reported it to EBay, they suspended it for review, but it appears to be back up now. Every listing has a button on the right side to report a listing, maybe if mre people report it they'll take another look.

I bought that book when I was a kid because of the cover.
Surely the people bidding that amount would do a little research on the piece first....wouldn't they?!?!?
i do it for anything I'm paying over a fiver for!
