Did you read it? The dude asks for it to be reposted. Within the context of his statement. He asks for people to repost it. So here it is, being reposted, mystery solved.
I find your question idiotic. I did in fact read it, he posted that on Facebook and asked that it be re-posted, I was assuming, in the context of Facebook, where he would be directly appealing to his friends and family or other people close to him (who no doubt know far more about the facts and the history here than we do), not strangers who realize they are getting at best one side of a story between two people they don't know at all.
"The dude", as you call him--and by that I can clearly tell that you are on a much more personal level of friendship with him than I--may very well wish that it be posted on every site on the internet for all I know, but that may not even be in his best interests, as someone else pointed out.
Whatever comes of it, needless to say I hope it works out best for the kids. But how could any of us presume to have any idea what that is?

im not sure either but its seems weird he has to give something up what millions are not giving up since at new york comic con i saw thousands of kids parents with kids writers and artists with kids plus a spiderman artist is a grandfather sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo whats the beef?
