~Hah... HAH, I SAY!!! The only way I'll even start to believe any attempt that he makes to pay what he owes is sincere and genuine is if he pawns the damn Porsche and uses that as collateral.

This is like me shooting a baby in the head, and trying to sound all repentative pleading my case, WHILE CHEWING ON IT'S CORPSE.~

    My opinion of Pat Lee.

The thing about the GOP or conservatives is that they are not presenting a message or a platform that is reaching out to me or many Americans. More American's lean towards the left or the platform/ideas of the left (see election results). Most American's believe that the wealthy should pay higher taxes. If the GOP want to have more power/appeal they need to change their message, do something about it.

There is some sort of magical thinking going on with the conservative right. The idea that "sticking to their guns" is the answer is not working out. The idea of denying reality, fabricating reality and fighting compromise is not working out. There was the whole debacle about Nate Silver and about polls being "gamed" to favor the left. Well, the fact is that more folks are leaning to the left right now. You can't deny reality and you can't call it "gamed" if it accurately represents what is going on. Of course more left leaning people will be polled, because there are MORE LEFT LEANING PEOPLE! It does not serve conservatives to have polls with "equal" weight given to left/right leaning people because its not an accurate representation of reality. smh.

Oh and for all the slander and bs thrown at Nate Silver, he was like 99% correct in his projections. He also used MATH and SCIENCE to come to his predictions. Will anyone learn a lesson from this-- we'll see. We'll see.

To be fair, GOP views and values are applicable to reality - provided that reality is a nation full of 1950s white American sitcom-style families.

Now come on, that's not fair. Some of those values could also be found in early 1960s sitcoms too!

Well, by definition, if most Americans support a particular position, it's not left or right, it's center. That's what has confounded Republicans-- they can't understand that the political center of the country has moved away from their positions over the decades. They can't accept the inevitable evolution of history. They look at change as something bad; the only the change they want is to go back to "the way things used to be." So the only thing left for them is to lie to the American public about what their positions actually are, and what their opponents' positions are, which is what we saw with Romney in this election.

To quote Stephen Colbert: "Reality has a well-known liberal bias."
ShadowMax: Has anyone actually verified this is the real Steve Wacker?

Me: Quick Steve, tell us something only Steve Wacker would know.

Steve Wacker: [The Marvel relaunch] secretly is a reboot.

Me: If you mean the continuity won't match up with any of the preceding issues, anyone could have predicted that.

Nowadays, husbands and wives sleep in separate beds for completely different reasons.

I found myself agreeing with Liefeld and had the weirdest feeling. It was like having too many "C" answers in a row on a multiple choice test. Something HAS to be wrong!
