Default Naked Girls Reading Neil Gaiman In Philidelphia

Look for Philly to get a whole more chilly.

I'm wondering how many people might be misled by the title "Neail Gaiman In The Nude"

But on November 18th at 9pm Naked Girls Reading will appear again at the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art. With American Gods being read by Miss Rose and the children's book Coraline being read by Hayley Jane. Other excerpts will be read by Betty Bloomerz and sex columnist Timaree.

$15 admission, $25 for couples. 18+, naturally. Neil Gaiman's reaction? They got a tweet.
Oh mighty city of PHILADELPHIA. There will be NAKED LADIES READING NEIL GAIMAN in you on Nov 18th. j.mp/X7oCqw

Sadly he won't be participating himself. That's reserved for someone else...

Amanda Palmer's talent is inversely porportional to her attention whoring. Paraphrasing, but it's like, "Look at me! I'm naked!"

    They should be reading Sandman.

I might actually be able to get past the first couple of pages, then.

So all of you who either disapprove of or flat out dislike Neil and Amanda for whatever reasons felt the need to post in this thread about how you don't like them (or their respective works) rather than skipping the thread because it's about something you don't like. Am I correct on that?
That's really, really sad guys. Really fucking sad.

More sad than clicking on this article for the chance to see some boobies, and then feeling used when there are no promised nekkid women?

I clicked on an article about Neil Gaiman, an author I like very much. But there's a picture of Amanda Palmer naked, like every other picture or video of her on-line. I don't like Palmer as a musician and I'm beyond tired of seeing her naked. I expressed my displeasure with seeing her naked again. How is that sad? Because I'm reasonably certain enjoying an author does not mean I should have to see pictures of their spouse naked.

So you called her an attention whore? Real nice there, pal. It's fine if you don't like her music or how she presents herself, but do NOT call that woman a whore. That shit's uncalled for. If you want to get irate about the photo then blame Rich, he picked it out. There are plenty of pictures of Neil and Amanda together where both are fully clothed.

"Attention whore" is a pretty common phrase. It's a gender nuetral phrase meaning a person who will do anything, including degrading themselves such as performing naked or being in other people's music videos naked or posting naked pictures on-line, to draw attention to themselves. It's either embarassing for me to have to teach you common slang or you are purposely taking a word out of context to argue a strawman point. Your attempt to paint me as a mysoginst is, to use your words, "pretty fucking sad."
