Default Preview: Avengers Vs X-Men #1 by John Romita Jr And Five Writers

Here you go folks. The first few pages of Avengers Vs X-Men #1 by Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Matt Fraction, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brubaker and John Romita Jr.

Considering how open Marvel used to be with who was President, I notice it's a little more mysterious now...bit of a Bendis signature that. Maybe it is just him for this issue.

    Anyway, she's coming.

"99% of us stripped of our powers. Fewer than 200 of our kind left."

By that, there are a mere 1% left.

Ha, does Marvel think we are supposed to care? So f#*&'in political they are. I have stopped caring.

I hope everyone realizes how utterly STUPID the set up for this series is. The Phoenix Force has show since its origin that it can pretty much travel anywhere in the universe INSTANTLY!!! Also, any starting location other than the M'Kraan crystal doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

I can't believe you people are actually going to buy this shit from Marvel.

    im not buying it.

i do like the page where Cap and Logan chat.

is Marvel writing comics by committee now? WTF!
i recall one Bleeding Cool poster saw 'comics by committee' coming awhile back. i really wish i could remember who said it, they deserve a prize. i wonder if they know tomorrow's winning lottery numbers too!

    *Yawn*

That's how anything by the arrogantly titled "architects" inspires me.

So does anyone know what the actual writing process is like on this? Is each writer focusing on a subplot each? Cos that worked out fine for 52...

    thats a damn good question!
id like to hear how they juggle so many writers on one project. i would think it would turn into some kind of crazy soup.

Is that sarcasm? 52 was both well-received and financially successful, so I'd say it worked out pretty fine.
