Is it Spider-Man? Or has Iron Man just got a fancy new paint job? This is the costume he'll be wearing in the upcoming Ends Of The Earth storyline, as the machinations of Doctor Octopus and the Sinister Six are made clear. There's webbing design on the lining as well.

I wouldn't want to see it long term, but I've never had a problem with Peter making special-use suits for special circumstances. I like it when writers remember that he is a creative, scientific guy, and it makes sense that he would put that to use when the situation requires it, as long as it actually does make sense in the story.

I get not liking the costume, but judging the whole thing based on that? If it is a storyline costume, get over it. If the story doesn't try to rest its laurels on the gimmick of a new costume, but tells an enjoyable tale, get over it.
