Default Sharp - The Graphic Novel

As Sharp Electronics celebrates its hundredth year, what better way for the Japanese company to document its rise from a manufacturer of mechanical pencils to consumer technology, than via a graphic novel? Drawn with a pencil, and made available digitally.

And is it one that could actually tug the heart strings? Very possibly. Seriously, grab a tissue for this one...

Stop telling me how things should be, I'm just some cunt on the internet.
Get up, move to a table without the internet, and do something about changing it.

I had a Sharp TV that lasted me 17 years!
When it finally stopped working and I had to junk it - I kind of felt guilty - like I was abandoning an old friend.

Suddenly, I feel like Homer Simpson.

I have not seen this kind of corporate short manga since years ago. The Japanese people is so well educated to obey to the corporates that they also lear the economic rules in the mangas.
I remember a monthly manga magazine which was full of these kind of stories.
They were encouraged there employees to have a drink at evening in their group, but not to be drunk because it was a very bad reputation for the corporate.
The best I have read (in Japanese of course!), was a story on how to be the first employee of the month, the best one. The Dallas' JR Ewing was a real tender one vs a simple Japanese top employee!!!
    Aut Pax. Aut Bellum.

Support the comic book indy scene.

Question about the mainstreamed comic books: why I am still buying the singles when the trades are well inexpensive? Why?
I am doing the DC and Vertigo singles... and the new titles of 2011/12 are already listed on Amazon at real lower prices in trade format!!!
    Am I stupid?
