Default Steve Geppi's 30th Anniversary Message To Publishers And Retailers (VIDEO)

It is Diamond Comic Distributors' 30th Anniversary. This is Steve Geppi's message to retailers, publishgers and manufacturers.

Yes, that is what Steve Geppi looks like.

I know it's nit-picking but it kind of irks me that the owner of the world's largest comic book distributor has baseball art behind him for this message - instead of something comic book related.

If vendors (comic shops) had the opportunity to get their comics from someone OTHER than Diamond, I'm sure many of them would. I hear so many complaints about their service, its staggering.

Yes, comic shops in my city are always complaining about stock they get charged for which doesnt turn up. Given its only 1 or 2 comics at a time it makes you wonder if its not warehouse staff at diamond helping themselves.

My first thoughts too were, why does he have baseball memorabilia instead of something comic related.

If diamond is around in 30 years, pigs will fly in 40.

I believe he is a big baseball fan as well, with a large stake in Camden Yards. (Home of the Baltimore Orioles and his comic museum)
