OCCUPY RIVERDALE - The Latest Step From Archie Comics Into Controversy

Bleeding Cool has sources everywhere. Some are reliable, some are... less so, but sometimes still come up with the goods. Well, this come from one of those double platinum sources that you can bet the farm, the farmer and the entire agricultural budget on.

I was given two words. Two words that define the story. Two words that tell you everything you need to know and promise so much more. Forget Before Watchmen, this is bigger.

"OCCUPY RIVERDALE".

With Occupy London, Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Washington bringing political and economic realities to a mass population, putting the very nature of capitalism on trial and encouraging the kinds of conversations the previous generation just couldn't have imagined resurfacing.

And now they are going to be discussed in Riverdale. A comic publisher which only a few years ago condemned anyone for even suggesting people in Riverdale could be gay, and is now running gay mixed race military weddings on the cover of their comic, looks like they'll be addressing the biggest political controversy of our time.

I hope it is a true rumor. I want to read the many lives of the Riverdale town.
So, I have bough the double-issues and... it was so 50s-70s that I have stopped. Boring. To not say something lesser...

With the Life with Archie magazine, I was so happy to read the death of a main character (at last!!! And this time, no cosmic gimmick to resurrect her like in the super-undies US dumbest comics ever...), I was more happy with the marriage cover: in the so world retired that are the USA, a proud and old publisher has enough guts and balls to kick lots of greasy and fatty conservative, white power only sects and religious extremists asses!! Well done!!!

Now, it is the time to brawl with the financial guys who have driven your economic in the gap. Do not forget that they are the same scavengers that are expelling lot and lot of families in the streets. Maybe you or a relative or a friend are suffering from this.
So, if this rumor is true: I support it!!!

I precise that I was at 100% with Miller's harsh reaction but this reaction was done by the fact that a large majority of those occupying people were wearing expensive clothes, were really in an excellent health, and they all had their last high tech tools in hands - to compare to the same young girls and girls who are risking their life in Afghanistan for the freedom of speech, the freedom of the women, the freedom of the teaching of the Afghan people, and also to have enough money to buy the studies they want to follow at their return, if they are returning alive... OK?
