Now Bongo Comics Gets A New Logo. And Homer Tries To Eat The Old One
DC Comics have done it. Devils Due have done it. Oni Press have done it. And now it's time for Bongo Comics of The Simpsons, Futurama and Sergio Aragones to change their logo. And all their titles as well.
Two weeks ago. Sorry, I just noticed.
Here's how, and why, Matt Groening's comic book publisher did the deed, explained to retailers, as well as a preview of what's to come including Chief Wiggum, Milhouse, L'il Homer and Maggie one shots.
Worst. Logo. Ever!

This is not a logo, this is something someone can do in a minute on illustrator. Wtf, Bongo? Your logo was beautiful! (also, I love Zongo comics logo)

This one looks oddly boring.
That's kind of sad, Bongo had a great logo.
Is there some marketing firm going around to these publishers telling them "BORING is the new COOL!" ?
So BONGO is going from creating comics to selling them. Can't wait for the store to open down the street.
