Default What Price Stan Lee's Signature? (VIDEO)

Next month sees the London Super Comic Convention, a new comic confocusingsolely on the comics medium, being held at the London ExCel Centre, the same venue that hosts the twice-yearly MCM London Expo.

Of course, what the London Super Comic Convention has, is Stan Lee, making his first signing appearance in the UK for decades. And the fans are going wild, this is likely to bring out all sorts of old time comic fans who haven't been to a show since the old UKCACs... and for whom the following prices won't be that much of a stretch considering the occasion.

The tickets are £15 for one day, £25 for two, but they are also offering two more tiers, one for an extra £20 for a signed item from Stan and a limited edition print featuring Stan and Marvel characters by J. Scott Campbell, a second tier for £35 which also includes early access to the show and a guarateed seat in the Stan Lee panel that day, and a third tier for £175 which includes a meet and greet with The Man.

Rich Johnston and Dan Hart will be attending the London Super Comic Convention for Bleeding Cool. We hope to see you there!

Yeah I bought 2 weekend passes so that I could ensure meeting Stan as I was prepared to queue up both days at whatever time in the morning to make it happen. When I saw this signature extra ticket I bought one for the Saturday to make damn sure I could meet him, but now I think about it, had they been up front about charging extra for Stan I wouldn't have bought the weekend pass. Never mind though - still dead excited! I just wish I could afford the £175 version!

only got the 2 weekend pass myself but can't afford to throw extra money for Stan - I do have comics to buy - the first day I plan on getting my suitcase of comics signed then on the 2nd wait in line for Stan, my oldest spidey comic thus far iis 200 the Uncle Ben killer one, he wrote that one page.

Without meaning to sound confrontational ... How can you push so many comics under creators noses and expect them to sign them?
    A suitcase?

Or am I missing the point?
Is it a suitcase of lots of different comics to be signed by different creators?

EDIT: It would be *totally* knee-tremblingly awesome to meet Stanley

Simple, 10 comics at a time, 20 or less for each for, I have 2 days and around 16 hour in total for 25 creator and I have to prioritise on who I know I will never see again e.g. Howard Chaykin.
I'll make the time, & I know I won't be the only one with a suit case like that Dan Slot signing a while back (I was the only one who brought his Sonic the Hedgehog work).

They're almost always flattered anyway, you should have seen the time I managed to grab almost every comic Sean Phillips ever worked on, my back hurt for days

I seem to recall seeing John McCrea doing just that! A big stamp with a picture of Spidey- genius!

I bought my weekend ticket when the website said all signatures would be free, so this is a bit annoying. Certainly wouldn't spend those prices for a scribble, but I guess there are plenty who will. Still looking forward to it though. Hope we get some panel details and signing schedules soon!
