Default The Return Of Dave Elliott's Monster Massacre

Monster Massacre was an A1 Atomeka publication from Dave Elliott and Gary Leach in the nineties, featuring work from Simon Bisley, Dougie Braithwaite, Simon Furman, Dave Gibbons, James O'Barr, Kevin O'Neill, Peter Snejbjerg and more, followed by a Monster Massacre Special from Blackball with Kevin Eastman, Simon Bisley, James O'Barr, Kevin O'Neill and more, as well as Carnosaur Carnage with Dan Abnett, Brian Williamson, Nick Abadzis, Kevin Walker, Richard Dolan, Anthony Williams, John McCrea, Walt Simonson and more.

It's been a while since we've seen such a publication. But now, after his stints with Radical and now Image, and a new comic Odyssey on the way, it appears that Dave Elliott is to revive the Monster Massacre name for a new monster themed anthology.

And that the creator list is almost full. Considering the pedigree of those involved with previous volumes, this should be one to look out for.

    Probably from Image Comics...

Huzzah! I likes me a good monster book.

Was there any other info re: possible pub date?

Only just announcing the book. Really want to get all the material in before it's published so everyone can get a good look at the material beforehand.

I can tell you that we are all committed to producing FUN, CREATOR OWNED comics! Monsters, aliens, a few busty babes... ;-) Ah, the 90's are well and truly back!!

IMO, there are not enough anthology comics out there. I was lucky to find an Atomeka issue of Monster Massacre a few months ago and really loved it. I'll definitely get this as soon as it comes out and am curious to see who is going to publish it now.

Any chance of Steve Pugh contributing a story? I know he was involved with Atomeka back in 2005.

Well and good. Just make sure to shamelessly pimp this all along the way: unauthorized teaser art, needlessly rude cease-n-desist orders, creator in-fighting. You know the drill.
