Default Dejah Thoris And The White Apes Of Mars Still Has Difficulty Finding A Chain Of Gap

That's the thing about White Apes Of Mars. They can get ever so grabby.

Dynamite are launching a new Wardlord Of Mars spinoff. A new Warlord Of Mars: Dejah Thoris spinoff, Warlord Of Mars: Dejah Thoris: The White Apes Of Mars written by Mark Rahner. Here's their solicitation:
On the way to an archeological dig at an ancient battle site at the "face" of Mars, Dejah Thoris and her party are stranded. They take shelter in a dead, ancient city - infested with killer white apes. Hungry ones. The most harrowing horror story in the annals of Barsoom! Dejah Thoris and the White Apes of Mars is written by Mark Rahner and drawn by Lui Antonio, with covers by Brandon Peterson and Alé Garza and will hit comic stores in April 2012!

Just, you know... no one show this to Fox 5 News in Washington, DC, okay?

Well at least she looks appetizing.

Or short: CRTBBSINMtwbOljXFBXFsff and she was a member of Nextwave.
Sorry, this last part can't be shortened.

Dynamite should really stop launching so much titles and series of the same brand. I'm reading Warlord of Marsd and enjoying it but I'm thinking more and more I should drop it seeing all that I'm missing about the story, developped in other mini and ongoing. I really think it's gonna hurt their sales in the end.

If you're reading just Warlord of Mars, you're missing nothing. The Dejah books are set 1000s of years in the past and have little connection to the actual series.

That was my understanding as well, but it's true that Dynamite is overdoing it.
Sadly, it is not only Dynamite, but Marvel and IDW are flooding the market with loads of unneccessary books.

I guess it's a good time to be a John Carter fan, with multiple companies publishing books with him.

I could understand being overwhelmed, I guess, but as a Legion of Super-Heroes fan I'm ecstatic to be getting 4 books a month with them lately, because I know it's not going to last and I better enjoy it while it happens.

Well true, but I wasn't just talking about John Carter, more of the way we've got 30 X-Men books, 30 Avengers, 10 Transformers, 8 GI Joe books each month and half of the stuff is goddamn awful that it would really be a benefit to both the readers and the industry if they were just pulped before delivery.

My rule on the Warlord of Mars stuff has simply been to buy anything written by Arvid Nelson (former writer of Rex Mundi). The other series are either by writers I've felt burned by before (Robert Napton) or unknown commodities I'm not going to risk $4 on (Mark Rahner).

I'll probably give Marvel's books a try in trade... at least the Peter David one.
