Default David Aja's Bloodshot For Valiant

Earlier this year, Marvel hinted that David Aja would be rejoining with Matt Fraction on a special Iron Fist issue of The Defenders.

That didn't happen. But it looks like David Aja has been a little busy.

Here's a preview of what appears to be the front cover of the new Bloodshot comic courtesy of theoff-the-record blog from an employee of the new Valiant Entertainment.

That's your first look at the new Bloodshot courtesy by David Aja folks. He'd previously been revealed as drawing an earlier promotional piece, but this looks it will show a whole lot more.

Hopefully, he'll actually be doing interiors and not just covers and design.

I'm getting more and more interested in the Valiant relaunch with every new bit of info. Still think it's a shame we'll be missing Solar and Magnus (Turok I can take or leave), and obviously I'm not gonna be properly sold until I hear who's writing, but... I'm cautiously optimistic.

Oh, and lovely art, by the way. Probably should've led with that

Same here, excited to see how they will handle this relaunch and how good will the titles be. Would not be suprised if a few of them become instant hits.

I want it!!!! I do not know Bloodshot and that will the great opportunity to discover this character!!! If the cover art IS a preview of the inside art... WOW!!!!

A question: why Solar, Magnus and Turok will not be relaunched??? Are they the properties of another publisher???
    Aut Pax. Aut Bellum.

Support the comic book indy scene.

Question about the mainstreamed comic books: why I am still buying the singles when the trades are well inexpensive? Why?
I am doing the DC and Vertigo singles... and the new titles of 2011/12 are already listed on Amazon at real lower prices in trade format!!!
    Am I stupid?

Sadly, yes they are. Those three were originally created in the 50s by a company called Gold Key, and were licenced by Valiant. The rights are currently owned by... I think it's Random House, who recently licenced them out to Dark Horse for a (pretty terrible and short lived) relaunch. As far as I know, Valiant won't be getting them back, and I'm not even sure what the status of getting the 90s stuff reprinted would be (I'm assuming not good).

/\ This! Didn't really like the character in his first incarnation, but I'll roll the dice to see Aja's work.

its the punisher in the land of the rising sun! hence red circle instead of skull! I'm only kidding, Aja looks inspired by Bradstreet... I am buying this. Hope he does interiors.
