Hooray! Look forward to seeing this in the prog.
He's quite good isn't he
Yup, The Mighty Tharg, the editor of 2000ad, generously forgave me for getting into bed with other publishers, and I was welcomed back into his bosom.
If you'll forgive me for speaking about myself in the third person for one fleeting moment: this is INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH WESTON. I wrote this six-page Judge Dredd story myself, as well as doing the pencils, inks and colours. Read it at your own peril.
This intricately detailed labour of love is called "The Death of DAN-E Cannon", a title which will hopefully ring a bell with hardcore Dredd fans.
Thanks for the plug, Rich! I'll let you know once I have the release date.
Judge Weston, I want to follow you on the streets of Mega-City One to intercept all the perps. My Lawgiver MKII is ready to Do Justice in the name of The Law. Sir.
I hope that The Almighty Tharg, Should You Be Blessed By His Holly Grace, will give your other shots in the Galaxy's Greatest Comic!!!

Question about the mainstreamed comic books: why I am still buying the singles when the trades are well inexpensive? Why?
I am doing the DC and Vertigo singles... and the new titles of 2011/12 are already listed on Amazon at real lower prices in trade format!!!
Am I stupid?
I think Dredds scowl has inspired a generation

I love Chris Weston's art. That Miracleman/Marvelman splash page he did recently was beautiful. AND he would be an awesome artist to be paired with Neil Gaiman to FINISH THE MIRACLEMAN/MARVELMAN SERIES that EVERYONE THOUGHT MARVEL COMICS BOUGHT.
I know that the "reporters" and "editors" and MARVEL APOLOGISTS at ComicBookResources have their own personal tastes that bias their reporting, BUT, with all these weakly interviews with Axel Alonso, ONE WOULD THINK THAT THEY WOULD MOTHERFUCKING ASK HIM "WHY WOULD MARVEL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BUY THE RIGHTS TO PUBLISH MIRACLEMAN/MARVELMAN IF THEY NEVER HAD ANY INTENTION TO REPRINT THE ALAN MOORE SERIES IN A DELUXE VOLUME????!!"
I understand that ComicBookResources has to humiliate themselves by kissing the asses of every Marvel official who deigns to do an interview with them, but you'd think that they could at least salvage some small measure of dignity BY ASKING THEM RELEVANT QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop telling me how things should be, I'm just some cunt on the internet.
Get up, move to a table without the internet, and do something about changing it.

Recession, Liefeld & Lee doing regular monthly books for one of the Big Two and Chris Weston doing his own colouring again...
Its 1991 all over again, isn't it? Still, at least one of the above is worth me getting very excited about (and I'll give you a subtle clue which: its the third one).
