Default Dave Gibbons And Todd Klein's IT IS

Now this is quite interesting. Letterer Todd Klein has created a number of prints with artists like Alex Ross and Steve Rude and writers like Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore, telling their stories, alphabetically, through lettering.

I don't think he's worked with a letterer before. Because, as well as an artist and a writer, Dave Gibbons letters his work, and has become rather known for his style. It even very poorly inspired the Comic Sans font. Though we don't hold that against him.

And so in this short piece by Dave Gibbons, Todd Klein uses Dave's own lettering style, or a version of it, to create this print, limited to 250 copies.

    Wheels within wheels within wheels.

It is a tutorial on when to use the serif-I in comics lettering.

But it is also an example of incorrect grammar: The last sentence is correct, but the not-quite-last sentences should read "It is she" and "It is he".
