Default San Diego Comic-Con Pre-Registration Has Opened - Register For Your Member IDs NOW!!!

Going to San Diego Comic Con this year? Remember how tricky it was last year? Well this year it's different.

This time, before you register, you have to pre-register for a Member ID.

And this is how you do it.

I'm doing mine now. Let's see how it goes.

UPDATE: Done it. Got my Press Member ID. Now to see what happens next...

Sadly yes... Once upon a time you had actual comic publishers, small press, and actual fanzine publishers on the floor... Quarter bin boxes, now not so much... And I've been attending since the 90's... Still its a spectacle to see though...

The opting out boxes were 'tricky' -while normally you undock something don't want you now have to dock whatever you don't want, and since they have an option of not receiving emails from comic-con regarding comic-con I think I read that bit at least 3 times before I was sure I made the right call.
Also, may I suggest that once you've got your Member-ID you log on and go to the receive messages page again for an additional, fourth, opting out for sharing of personal information about you to Non-Critical 3d parties that was not available during sign up -sneaky.

Thanks for that! I went back and opted out on Non-Critical & 3rd Party.

So people claim, but with a little planning, you can spend all four days doing nothing but comic book related activities.
