Default Lady Death #13 by Brian Pulido, Mike Wolfer and Marcelo Mueller - Boundless Plug Of The Week

The ongoing LADY DEATH series continues its forward momentum with today?s release of issue #13, co-written by original creator Brian Pulido and Mike Wolfer (Stitched, War Goddess). This latest issue features the return of Marcelo Mueller to art chores on the title, with interim artist Gabriel Andrade departing for the ongoing Ferals series (also launching today).

The civil war in the otherworldly Under Realm enters its third act, with dramatic shifts in alliances. Lady Death, now partnered with Stigmata, a former sworn enemy comprised of living blood, arrives at a secret jungle rendezvous with other rebel factions. But will they be greeted as heroes or reviled as enemies? Without a single united leadership, with mistrust and hysteria setting in, the rebellion against the nihilistic Death Queen may be doomed. Also, a new power emerges in the realm, but will it tip the balance in favor of Death Queen or the rebels?

LADY DEATH #13 is available with a selection of variant covers, include a regular cover by Gabriel Andrade, a wraparound cover by Richard Ortiz, and a retailer incentive Art Deco edition by painter Michael DiPascale. Here?s a preview of this latest LADY DEATH issue for your viewing enjoyment.

    Cheers for the link, Enigma.

I thank God that I ain't queer. I think if I was, I'd feel a bit low, having watched that. Well done!

Hey hey hey... they need love too, now...

.. not from me, but you get the idea.

And that's just my way of asking if that's all she's about or did they introduce her to the concept of character development?

Considering your tone and the "funny" video link you posted, I'll take a wild guess that you actually couldn't care less whether or not there's any substance to the series, Enigma.

And, you know, you could always go out on a limb and actually pick up an issue, read it, and decide for yourself if there's character development. Or better yet, begin with the Lady Death Premiere, then issue #0, then issues #1- #13, since this is one continuing, epic storyline that will conclude in #18 before our next storyline begins in #19.

Or, you know... I couldn't. And you're right. I really don't. But hey, far as I know, maybe you guys actually did add something of substance into the book , and just threw her on the cover almost naked just to trick us.

But don't feel bad. I'm not just pointing the finger at you guys. Red Sonja/Witchblade/Dejah Thoris/etc always made me wonder the exact same thing. And of course, if the chosen demographic don't mind it... and many of them don't, who cares, right?

But I implore you... don't sit here wasting time arguing with me about it. It's counter productive, and I really don't feel like arguing with another "Steve Wacker..."

No argument here. I'm just replying to your public "I wonder if" query with my standard, public "Read it and decide for yourself" response.
