I like to think/pretend/kid myself that we set the bar a little bit higher here than in some other sites.

People either up their game, which is a good thing that we need to encourage, or they sod off, which is a good but mildly sad thing, but we do get a handful who stick around and still crap in the pool occasionally.

Which is an irritating but inevitable thing, I guess.

...It's a common practice now for getting one's self elevated from a basic Wikinazi to Rogue Admin status on Wikipedia these days. Tor makes it fairly easy if you're that desperate for power over the asylum. Some have as many as ten Admin accounts to help ensure that if one account is overruled, the others step in and overturn the decision by "majority" vote. Most real Admins won't bother pursuing the matter after that and just move on to other articles.
