Do you think a display on front page stories of the comments would be a good idea?

Or, if not quite the most recent comments, perhaps a selection?

I'm not sure how it could be automated, and the only sure fire way that I could think of would be a 'kudos' system, based (perhaps) on a 'like' effect ... like on facebook. So if a response gets enough likes, then it'll be included amongst the few comments beneath a story on the front page.

I dunno, I think it would be nice to lure more people back here to the sweaty section to chew the fat with us!
