Ignoring Threads

What I would like to see here is a function that lets me ignore threads or even sub-fora.

For example, the "Who do you ship?" thread in The Comic Book Forum. I'd like to put that one on ignore, for example, not because I find it offensive (I don't), but I don't ship anyone, I have no interest whatsoever in shipping characters. As it is, the foum will show up as "new posts" whenever someone posts in that thread. I'd rather focus on threads that interest me. (Another thread I'd like to "ignore" would be the "How to hit on a girl at SDCC thread." Again, no interest, seeing as how I'm not at SDCC and already married so wouldn't hit on any pretty girls anyway.

As an example for sub-fora that I'd like to put on ignore, seeing as how I have no interest in "Sports," that forum is also a redundancy. Don't misunderstand me, I'm absolutely not saying that the forum (or such threads) shouldn't be here, I'm just saying that the ability to put threads or fora that don't interest me on ignore would enhance the BC experience.
