Template Modification Ideas

Hey Mark - It would be cool if you could edit the template so that another breadcrumbs tree appears at the bottom of the topic view. I know there's a jumpbox down there, but after I post in a thread, I like to then quickly click on the breadcrumbs tree to go back to either the whole forum index or just the forum I'm viewing, but I have to scroll back to the top or use the jumpbox for that currently. Should be a simple modification, putting whatever code displays the tree in a table underneath the topic, if you think this would be a good idea. It makes active posting easier, IMO.

yeah, that's a pretty good idea. I need to look up how to do that anyway.

Should be a matter of finding the view topic file in the template files, and copying the code near the top where it displays the tree and pasting it at the bottom. I would have to see it to know exactly though, as I don't have vbulletin.

I would also love something like this, some kind of "back button" at the bottom.

The blog upgrade is backend stuff and cosmetic / organizational on the front end. Nothing too dramatic.

For the forum, I'm going to try to integrate it into the rest of the site a bit better and grab a bunch of people's suggestions finally.
